The Bishop and The Boxer

When Joseph drove the Bishop into town, he braked hard for a mob in the street. At the center of the mob were two scrawny boys, shirts off and bare knuckle boxing. The Bishop got out of the car aiming to speak with the boss of this arena. One of the scrawny fighters is thrown into the car door, pushing The Bishop back inside. Faces with blood and sweat were smeared upon the window. Bishop Thomas Michael O'Leary says to his driver,"So this is my flock?" Joseph the driver replies,"The better part of it Father, yes. Right there is the best fighter Springfield has got. Froggy there, he's the mayor of Springfield, unofficially speaking that is." The Bishop, though startled, remained cool. Then asked the driver if he could arrange an appointment between himself and the mayor. "Perhaps we should make that both mayors, Joseph."

Spiritual Request

When Spirits speak to me through dreams and visions, they always have a message. When Thomas, a Catholic Bishop, spoke to me, he had a request. Thomas asked me to write his story for him when I was not quite eight years old, promising to return when I was all grown up.

True to his word, Thomas returned last October. Thirty years had passed. In that time, I had learned to question all religious dogma I had ingested as a child. I questioned my place in this world as a psychic, as a woman and mother. It had taken me thirty years to grow up and rededicate myself to my own true voice. Knowing my belief system does not always follow that of the Church, I doubted that I could truly be of service to Thomas.

Surprisingly, Thomas’ story is a shared one. It is the story of his most beloved friend and their love of their city. Together, the Bishop and the Boxer have been speaking to me in spirit. Each man has been sharing with me their memories like postcards from the past. For me, it is a pleasure to be a part of their story telling sessions. For them, I believe it is a relief to be able to give their lives more meaning. For all, it is a gift to receive. This path from the past is meant to help us all find our way into a safer future.

Their story takes place in a time that mirrors our own. The stock market has crashed. Unemployment is high. Crime is even higher. People are lost in debt and desperation. Our Nation’s big cities are crumbling from within. Trust has been lost and the hope of future generations is in the balance.

Together, the Bishop and the Boxer teem up to heal their broken city. In the process, they form a friendship that ends up rebuilding the whole Western half of Massachusetts. Will their secret destroy all they hold dear?

Stay tuned.

Dream Messages

I have spent the better part of today dealing with a dream I had the night before. In my dream, I began to speak but my mouth felt funny. Looking in the mirror, my mouth looked strange as if it were painted by Salvadore Dali. Without a good visual, I began to feel around. Three teeth painlessly, fell out into my hand. They were all connected, no roots and there was a piece of silver sticking out. Uggh.

With that, I was up and questioning. What does it mean to dream about loosing ones teeth? One interpretation stated that a lost tooth for tells of a death. I couldn’t begin to consider three people I know dying. The next suggested I would be receiving money from the tooth fairy. Nice thought, but no. Lastly, it was bound to be that I truly need dental attention. Maybe so.

I brushed and flossed for quite a while. A voice in my head said,”Bone of my bone.” The phone rang and I forgot all about the tooth mystery for a while. Though I did wonder why the teeth in my dream had silver in them. I had the silver removed from my teeth many years ago.

After school, my son mentioned that he had some pain in his mouth. I smiled and asked if the pain was up top on the right side. He smiled, relieved at not having to explain.

Our little mini drama made me think. How many helpful little messages have I been missing out on by saying,”Oh, it’s just a dream.”

And you would think I would know better.

Dream Walking

Dream Walking is just as the name suggests. It is the act of spiritually, knowingly, purposefully, walking and taking part in your own dreams. In Dream Walking, you are not only a spectator, but a main player. In Dream Walking, we can speak with ancestors, heal, and practice being our most perfect selves.

There are so many books that have been published about dream analysis, art of dreaming, and dream dictionaries. There are even websites that have been dedicated to the history of dreams. With so much out there, it is difficult to figure out just what One’s dreams mean. Add to it that I am telling you to become an active player in your own dreams, maybe it all seems like it is a bit much.

So, you have taken the bait and would like to know how this works.

I can only instruct you on how I Dream Walk. As any great instructor will tell you, first learn my way, then fine tune it to your liking. You will find your own pace and set it, but first let me prepare you for unexpected pit falls.

Alcohol, street drugs, mood altering drugs and some prescription drugs will inhibit you from Dream Walking. If your body is very ill, you may have to wait for better health before Dream Walking. While Dream Walking, I suggest that you remain respectful to all. All actions in the Dream Realm will affect you in your waking hours.

When I am about to fall asleep, I think of a person or place and go there. It really is that easy for me now. It was not always easy. In fact, at first, it was very frightening.

In the beginning, when I began to fall asleep, it felt like I was falling. The falling frightened me. In the physical world, if you fall, you usually get hurt. In Dream Walking, the sensation of falling is the act of a small piece of your soul connecting into the Dream Realm. When you wake, there again will be the sensation of falling. It is only a small piece of your soul reuniting with you body.

Once you are settled in the understanding that this is safe, you will be better able to navigate through the Dream Realm and actually Dream Walk.

It is important to know that fear blocks and traps us all from living. Fear is usually put in place to give us boundaries that make us feel safe. Sometimes we need it. Like when a child is restrained from running into traffic, the fear of injury and death keeps the child safe. Now, as the child grows older, they must learn to cross the street by themselves by obeying the traffic rules. Let’s take this logic further. Sometimes, in order to survive, we must break the rules that have helped us to survive. That child may need to run through on coming traffic in order to get away from a more immediate danger. The fear is still in place, telling the child to avoid the moving vehicles. The child will use the fear to navigate his way to safety. Just be aware that fear itself is not bad. Fear has its own purpose and place in a healthy life. So, when letting go or managing your fears, it is important to be grateful for the great service which fear imparted upon you.

Okay, so the fear is managed and you have succeeded in falling into the Dream Realm. Give yourself a moment. Look around. Notice all of the colors, the sites, and remember them for later. Is the sky purple? Do you see others around you? Listen to what they say. Can you understand what is being said to you? Are they speaking too quickly? In time you will be able to fall into their space and match their speed. Until then, just think a thought and direct it to the one speaking to you. When you are in the Dream Realm telepathy is far more useful than words. Often, words will be used for emphasis so that you can remember them when you awaken.

At this point you are ready to Dream Walk. So walk around. Remembering to be reverent, you will see, hear, feel, and enjoy sensations that your physical body may not have. Unable to walk? You can run here. With practice, you can feel and be anything that suits your liking. I like to use this as a healthy stress reliever for life in the “real” world. You can use this space to live out fantasies, practice something you would like to attempt in the “real” world, or even reprogram your body to heal itself. Hard to believe, but this wonderland is free and open to every one of us.

I am a medium.

All anyone can ever do is speak from experience. This is mine. I am a medium. In simple terms, I can, and do, speak to people without bodies. This includes the dead, unborn, angels, spirit guides, and even animals.

The process of being a medium is very internal. Yes, I can see, hear, feel, smell and at times taste a spirit that wants to communicate with me. Some experiences are quite pleasant and once in a great while painful. It all depends upon the emotional state of the client and the spirits that surround them. Think of it this way. When you open your email, you never know what to expect. There is mostly trivial stuff pertaining to sales and the daily grind. Once in a while you may get an email that is very emotional. A love letter can be tender causing you great joy. A letter written with great anxiety will cause you to feel..well, you get the point.
